New PCIC Update: October 2021

This issue of the PCIC Update opens with the story, Assessing Changing Flood Risk, which covers a recent pilot project that PCIC has undertaken to provide guidance on design flood values. The second stoy, Congratulations to the Recipients of the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physics, discusses the laureatest for this year's Nobel Prize in Physics, whose work furthers our understanding of the complex systems that make up our world. The third story covers the release of PCIC's 2020-2021 Corporate Report, which covers the projects undertaken at PCIC over the last fiscal year. The fourth story, Supporting the Management of BC Salmon Habitats, discusses ongoing work at PCIC to develop tools for salmon habitat management, in partnership with researchers from the Fisheries and Oceans Canada and with the support of the British Columbia Salmon Restoration and Innovation Fund.
