Final Reports Published for PCIC Hydrologic Projects

Final results from the first phase of PCIC's Hydrologic Impacts research program with BC Hydro have been published, the culmination of four years of collaborative work aimed at better understanding the potential effects of climate variability and change on BC water resources.

The following four peer-reviewed project reports are now available:

• BCSD Downscaled Transient Climate Projections for Eight Select GCMs Over British Columbia, Canada (Hydrologic Modelling Project Final Report Part I)

• Hydrologic Impacts of Climate Change in the Peace, Campbell and Columbia Watersheds, British Columbia, Canada (Hydrologic Modelling Project Final Report Part II)

• Climate Diagnostics of Future Water Resources in BC Watersheds (RCM Diagnostics Project Final Report)

• Climate Change Impacts on Hydro-Climatic Regimes in the Peace and Columbia Watersheds, British Columbia, Canada (Synthesis Project Final Report)

A fifth report related to these projects, Climate Overview 2007: Hydro-Climatology and Future Climate Impacts in British Columbia was published in 2009.
