Call for Abstracts: RCSW 2011 Deadline Extended

The Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium and the Institute for Coastal Research, Helmholtz Zentrum Geesthacht in Germany, have extended the deadline for abstracts for the PCIC-hosted Regional Climate Services Workshop to be held at the University of Victoria, November 21-23, 2011.

The new deadline for presenter abstracts is OCTOBER 5, 2011. Submissions for all sessions, particularly Session 2: Climate Stakeholder Perspective and Session 4: Role of the Mass Media are encouraged. Participation in the workshop provides government and industry stakeholders, academic researchers and others an opportunity to engage with regional climate service leaders, and help define the outcome of this timely discussion. Several invited speakers have already been confirmed.
