Updates and Developments in Climate Change Tools for B.C. + Case Study from the Southern Interior
This webinar has been recorded. All of the webinars in this series are available here.
In February of 2020, FPInnovations organized three webinars that outlined the approaches available to designers when rationalizing for climate change at a typical crossing. Presentations showed how to use several publicly available interactive map tools for B.C. as part of crossings design, and highlighted tool limitations. In this follow-up series, Accounting for Climate Change Impacts in the Design of Resource Road Stream Crossings, attendees will learn about developments in tools, data portals, and how professionals are integrating climate change into design flood hydrology through case studies.
PCIC User Engagement and Training Specialist, Kari Tyler, will be contributing to this seminar with a discussion of PCIC's newly updated Plan2Adapt tool. Matt Kurowski from FPInnovations will provide updates on topics from the first series and Mel Reasoner from Climate Resources Consulting will review the use of two tools that were not included in the first series.
