The Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium bridges the gap between…

The Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium (PCIC) is dedicated to stimulating collaboration to produce practical climate information for education, policy, and decision-making in the Pacific Northwest. The Consortium informs adaptation in both operational activities and long term planning in order to reduce vulnerability to climate variability, climate change, and extreme weather events.

As part of this vision, PCIC has developed publicly available online climate impacts tools. Our publications and presentations are also made available online.

Vision

“…to stimulate collaboration between government, academe and industry to reduce vulnerability to extreme weather events, climate variability and the threat of global change. The consortium for climate impacts will bridge the gap between climate research and climate applications and will make practical information available to government, industry, and the public”.
