From Snowmelt to Streamflow: Data Portals for Future Hydrologic Conditions + Discussion: Climate Change Tools Needs for Crossings Design
This webinar has been recorded. All of the webinars in this series are available here.
In February of 2020, FPInnovations organized three webinars that outlined the approaches available to designers when rationalizing for climate change at a typical crossing. Presentations showed how to use several publicly available interactive map tools for B.C. as part of crossings design, and highlighted tool limitations. In this follow-up series, Accounting for Climate Change Impacts in the Design of Ressource Road Stream Crossings, attendees will learn about developments in tools, data portals, and how professionals are integrating climate change into design flood hydrology through case studies.
In this webinar, PCIC Hydrologist Arelia Schoeneberg will introduce a PCIC data portal that provides projected streamflow for a range of future climate conditions in subbasins of the Peace, Fraser and Columbia. PCIC User Engagement and Training Specialist, Kari Tyler will lead a facilitated conversation with designers on the applied use of climate tools.
